Kristy Baksh

Kristy Baksh is an experienced professional in the field of transmission planning and system operations, currently serving as the Manager of System Planning at Tampa Electric since July 2014. With a background that includes roles such as Senior Engineer in Transmission Planning and Compliance Manager in Energy Delivery at TECO Energy, Kristy has extensive expertise in performing transmission planning analyses, developing projects for enhancing long-term reliability, and conducting studies in accordance with NERC and FRCC guidelines. Kristy holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida and possesses NERC RC certification. Notable leadership roles include Vice-Chair of the FRCC Transmission Working Group and Chair of the FRCC Operations Planning Working Group. Throughout the career, Kristy has actively contributed to the field through various capacities in organizations like Duke Energy Corporation, Progress Energy, and Seminole Electric Cooperative.
