Amrita Gangotra

Amrita Gangotra is an experienced technology executive, who has held various leadership positions in the telecom and IT industry in India. Amrita is currently an independent director at Tanla Solutions.

Amrita started their career in 1991 as a Sr. Project Manager at Nestle India Limited, and then moved to HCL Comnet Ltd. as CIO & GM-ITSM in 2000. In 2002, they joined airtel as CIO - Mobile Service, and was responsible for the mobile services and IT operations of the company.

In 2005, they joined Bharti Airtel as Director-IT & CIO (India & South Asia), and was responsible for the company's IT operations in India and South Asia. Amrita then served as CIO - Mobile Services & Airtel IT Operations from 2008 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2018, they were with Vodafone as Director Technology, overseeing all aspects of technology for consumer and enterprise customers. Amrita was responsible for the LTE roll out, core network, SON and NFV for the mobile business, as well as product development and project delivery for enterprise customers. Amrita also led the digital transformation for the company.

Gangotra has extensive experience in the telecom and IT industry in India, and has been a driving force behind many successful projects and initiatives.

Amrita Gangotra has a M.Sc in Operational Research from Delhi University where they were a Gold Medalist. Amrita also has a Leadership at Peak certification from CCL in Organizational Leadership. Amrita has an Executive program certification from INSEAD in Management. Finally, they have a certification from Indian Institute Of Corporate Affairs (Iica) in Assessment Test For Independent Director's Databank.
