João Mestre

João Mestre is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at TAP Air Portugal since July 2016, focusing on facilities management, energy and sustainability management, and maintenance of electrical installations. Prior to TAP, João held multiple engineering roles at Companhia de Electricidade de Macau from January 2013 to June 2016, including positions in network operations, maintenance, planning, design, and back office coordination within the system dispatch center. Earlier experience includes work as an Infrastructure Junior Engineer at Volkswagen Autoeuropa and a professional internship with EDP at the Alqueva II Hydro Power Plant. João holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and has pursued further education in Facility Management, Electric Power Engineering, and Energy Supply.
