District Director Facilities Planning And Development

Margaret Lutton has over 25 years of experience in strategic planning and project development within educational and health care environments. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Institutional and Strategic Planning at Tarrant County College since 1997, Margaret oversees Facilities Condition Assessments, Asset Management, and Facilities Administration. Previous roles include Executive Director of Institutional and Strategic Development and Director of Strategic Project Development, where Margaret implemented the Innovation Forum and served as a strategic building advisor. Margaret's career began in the Real Estate and Facilities department, where a sabbatical focused on sustainability standards sparked a strong commitment to sustainable practices. Margaret also has significant teaching experience, having instructed over 2,000 students and served as a program coordinator and interim department chair. Earlier in her career, Margaret worked as a Senior Project Designer at Health Facilities Group, managing healthcare renovation projects across the Midwest. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Historic Preservation from Texas Tech University.
