Brad Balter

Brad Balter is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in trading, investment management, and institutional sales. Currently serving as the Head of Trading at TCGX since April 2024, Brad oversees trading operations for a public-private life science investment firm. Prior to this role, Brad was the Executive Vice President at Bain Capital, contributing to the establishment of the internal Portfolio Group for the Life Sciences vertical from January 2021 to April 2023. From 2006 to 2020, Brad led Balter Capital Management, LLC, developing the firm from inception to $2 billion in peak assets as Managing Partner. Earlier roles include Managing Director at Citigroup Global Capital Markets Inc., where Brad ranked as a top producer, and Senior Vice President at UBS, managing a significant portfolio for ultra-high net worth clients. Brad holds degrees from Williams College and Reichman University, where education was completed in 2016.
