Matt Brennan

Matt focuses on investments in expansion-stage software, financial technology, and tech-enabled services companies. He is particularly interested in companies that have a rich stream of data and information, whether they are originating it, managing it, or transacting with it.

Matt was previously a Partner at General Catalyst, where he focused on SaaS, data services, payments, and healthcare companies. Prior to General Catalyst, Matt was a Principal at Bain Capital Ventures, where he specialized in the intersection of software and financial technology. He began his investing career at Insight Venture Partners.
