Joe Holland

Joe Holland is the current CEO at Teachers Pay Teachers. Prior to this, they were the CFO at Zocdoc from February 2014 to June 2014. Before that, Joe was the CFO and EVP of Strategy at WeddingWire from October 2009 to February 2014. There they led financial planning and budgeting, achieving 15x revenue growth and positive free cash flow. Joe also created a comprehensive subscriber model driving significant improvements in customer lifetime value. Additionally, Joe raised equity and debt capital; closed multiple acquisitions and strategic partnerships; and built out accounting and data science teams.

From April 2006 to October 2009, Joe was the VP of Finance and Strategy at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. There they assisted the CFO in various finance capacities including building financial forecasts, preparing Board updates, and drafting SEC filings. Joe also managed investor relations and led M&A initiatives. Furthermore, Joe was a Board Director at WeddingWire (stake sold to Catalyst Investors), Pingg (sold to 1-800 Flowers), and ZipList (sold to Conde Nast).

Prior to their work at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Joe worked as an Associate Analyst - Media and Leisure at Bear Stearns & Co. from November 2004 to April 2006. And before that, they were an MBA Intern at IBM Venture Capital Group from May 2002 to July 2002.

Joe Holland has an MBA in finance from the Yale School of Management and an AB in government from Harvard University.
