Tyler Mitchelson

Tyler Mitchelson is the current SVP of Copper Growth at Teck. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Metallurgical Coal at Anglo American from April 2014 to June 2022. Tyler has also served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Royal Nickel Corporation from October 2009 to March 2014, where they were responsible for leading the development of a large scale nickel project in Quebec, Canada.

Tyler Mitchelson is a Chartered Accountant with a designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Their field is accounting and business/management. Prior to this, they completed their B Comm from the University of Manitoba in accounting.

Tyler Mitchelson reports to Donald R. Lindsay, President and CEO. Tyler Mitchelson works with Alex Christopher - SVP, Exploration, Projects & Technical Services, Shehzad Bharmal - SVP, Base Metals, North America and Peru, and Dean Winsor - SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer.
