Rafael Salazar Novo

Rafael Salazar Novo is an accomplished entrepreneur and academic with extensive experience in the fields of innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship. As the CEO and Cofounder of Sendity, which was acquired by Prosegur, Rafael designed the company’s strategy for digital remittances and launched Geltgiro, the first online aggregator for remittance comparison in Europe. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Innovation Consulting at the Royal Commission for AlUla, Rafael is focused on promoting AlUla as a premier tourist destination. Rafael also holds multiple academic roles at IE Business School, providing mentorship and instruction in innovation methodologies and entrepreneurship. With a robust educational background that includes multiple Executive MBAs and Master's degrees in telecommunications and innovation, Rafael is also engaged in various mentorship initiatives and has organized significant TEDx events.
