Ryan Cefai Mercieca

Ryan Cefai Mercieca is an experienced professional with a strong background in event management, business consulting, and project management. Currently serving as a TEDx Event Organiser since September 2022, Ryan has also been a self-employed contractor since 2017, providing expertise in business planning and procurement. Previous roles include Project Manager for Social Entrepreneurship in 2016, Project and Event Manager for the iLead - The Creative Leader Academy from 2014 to 2016, and Event Manager for the Gozo Folk Festival in 2015. Ryan's experience extends to internships and leadership programs, such as serving as the UN Youth Delegate for Malta at the Permanent Mission of Malta to the United Nations in 2014 and participating in the 'Generation Next' program selected by the Russian Embassy. Ryan is a PhD candidate and holds multiple degrees from the University of Malta, including Master's degrees in Diplomacy, Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, and Tourism, along with a Bachelor's degree in Geography and various diplomas in Human Resources Management and Business Administration. Additionally, Ryan holds a UEFA C License in Sport and Fitness Administration.
