Shiv Soin

Shiv Soin is an experienced professional currently serving as Countdown Youth Lead and Program Associate at TED Conferences since June 2022. As Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director at TREEage since August 2019, Shiv has contributed to youth activism and environmental initiatives. Previous roles include Undergraduate Admissions Ambassador at New York University, Summer Associate for the Office of Assemblymember Ron Kim, and New York City Lead Organizer and Spokesperson for Future Coalition. Shiv also interned with the United States Senate and the New York State Democratic Party, while beginning a career in education as a Lead Junior Student Instructor at Kumon North America, Inc. Shiv holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from New York University, with prior education at John P. Stevens High School.
