Will Potter

Will Potter is an accomplished investigative journalist and educator with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a TED Senior Fellow and Distinguished Journalist in Residence at the University of Denver, Will has made significant contributions to civil rights, social movements, and environmental protection. As the President of Will Potter Enterprises, reporting and commentary have been prominently featured in over 200 media outlets, including The Washington Post and CNN. Will's previous roles include distinguished lecturer at the University of Michigan, freelance journalist for VICE News, and senior media associate at the NEA. Will's work has led to notable legal impacts, such as overturning criminal prosecutions and challenging censorship laws. Will holds degrees in journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and The Johns Hopkins University, along with a fellowship from the University of Michigan.
