Nathan Lienau

Nathan Lienau has been working in the IT industry for over 13 years. Nathan started their career as an Assistant Support Center Manager at Genuine Parts Company. After working there for 8 years, they became the IT Manager at Misher Fleet. Nathan then moved on to Thomson Reuters where they were the Technical Support Manager. Nathan is currently a Senior Consultant at Teknion Data Solutions.

Under Nathan's leadership, the support organizations they have been a part of have increased published knowledge base articles by 893% and decreased the number of open cases by 29%. Nathan has experience with ITIL and ITSM and has instituted procedures, provided direction, and set goals to develop and mature the two separate teams of support analysts they have led.

At Misher Fleet, Nathan was the top-ranking IT professional and reported directly to the company president. Nathan oversaw the acquisition and deployment of all IT hardware (servers, PCs, printers, network switches, and routers). While in this role, they also implemented solutions for several key business issues the company was facing and improved many business processes through training and implementation of new technologies. Nathan was also a member of the executive management board and assisted in setting company policy and direction.

Nathan Lienau's educational career includes a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Illinois University. Nathan also has various certifications, including Alteryx Core Designer, WhereScape RED, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), HDI Support Center Manager, Matillion Certified Associate, ITIL Foundations, and HDI Support Center Analyst Certification.
