Shabnam Farhoomand

Shabnam Farhoomand, M.Ed., APCC, is an experienced clinical professional currently serving as the Team Lead for the Mobile Crisis Response Team at Telecare Corporation since November 2023. Farhoomand has a robust background in behavioral health, having previously led teams and provided therapy at AACI and the Center for Survivors of Torture, specializing in cases involving trauma and culturally sensitive treatment. Additional roles at the Family Therapy Center of Silicon Valley and Community Solutions involved comprehensive assessments and high-level support for individuals facing significant mental health challenges. Initially starting a career in education as an English teacher in Korea, Farhoomand holds a master's degree in Education, Counseling, and Pupil Services from San José State University.
