Jan-Marc Kartenbender

Jan-Marc Kartenbender is a Development Engineer at Teleflex within the R&D Competence Center since July 2025, specializing in development projects for drug-coated balloon combination products. Previously, Jan-Marc served in a similar role at BIOTRONIK from April 2023 to June 2025. Jan-Marc also gained experience as an Associate Quality Engineer at ETH Zürich in early 2021 and worked as a Teaching Assistant for various courses, including "Biomechatronics" and "Engineering Design 2." Additional professional experience includes a management consulting fellowship and internships in product development and at a workshop. Jan-Marc holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, along with a Research Scholar designation in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University. Education foundations include attendance at Claremont Secondary School in Canada and Gymnasium Essen-Werden in Germany.
