Maggie Zhou

Maggie Zhou is the Operating Partner at Telstra Ventures. Maggie has over 8 years of experience in business consulting and product management.

Maggie started their career as a Business Process & Change Analyst at Sensis, where they were responsible for new processes, systems, and products roll out for supporting the Yellow Pages business. During their time at Sensis, Maggie developed a change management plan for iGen's roll out which aimed to achieve 100% usage rate. Maggie also developed a training plan and product training course for new yellow page product launches.

In January 2016, Maggie joined Telstra as a Senior IOT Product Manager, where they were responsible for M2M (Machine to Machine) & IoT (Internet of Things) solutions. Maggie was later promoted to Strategy Integration Lead - Mergers & Acquisitions and then Lead of Go to Market - Product Development. In their current role as Operating Partner at Telstra Ventures, Maggie is responsible for investments in new technology and growth companies.

Maggie Zhou has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Melbourne - Melbourne Business School, a Master in Business and Information Technology from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor in Software Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University. Maggie is also certified in PRINCE2 Practitioner, Scaled Agile Framework Agilist, Certified Scrum Master, and Certificate of Change Management for Project Managers.

Their manager is Matthew Koertge, Managing Director. They are on a team with Yash Patel - General Partner, Saad Siddiqui - General Partner, and Steve Schmidt - General Partner.
