Jeff Puritt

President & CEO at Telus International

As President and CEO of TELUS International, I am committed to empowering and supporting what I believe to be the best team in our industry, who surpass our clients’ expectations every day in designing, building and delivering high-tech, high-touch customer experiences powered by next-gen digital solutions.

I joined TELUS Communications Inc. (our parent company) in 2001, undertaking progressively senior positions across Finance and Administration, IP Applications Business Development, New Product and Service Development, Ventures, and Mergers and Acquisitions. I now serve as an Executive Vice-President with TELUS, committed to upholding our customers first promise.

I have led TELUS International since 2008, driving our company’s growth from a single contact center in Manila to a customer experience innovator that designs, builds and delivers next-gen digital solutions for global and disruptive brands from sites in 20 countries located across four continents. As a result of our team’s grit and dedication to our ongoing successful evolution, it was an honor to have been named “Executive of the Year” at the esteemed International Business Awards (Stevie Awards) for 2016.

Having been raised in Tanzania, where I spoke Swahili before learning English, my upbringing influenced my worldview and commitment to greater social justice, and I’m proud to lead and participate in TELUS International’s global corporate social responsibility efforts that are unparalleled in the industry. Each and every year, I am inspired by our thousands of team members who volunteer alongside their family members, friends and our clients to improve the lives of children and families in every single region where we operate around the world.

I continue to serve on the Board of Directors for AGS Health, an analytics driven, technology enabled Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) company that provides medical billing, medical coding and business analytics services to leading healthcare providers across the U.S. Further, I've served as the Honorary Chair for a not-for-profit organization that has pioneered the integration of youth with disabilities into the mainstream of society, from 2011 to 2016 – a cause very close to my heart.
