Pavel Rubio-Hormazabal

Pavel Rubio-Hormazabal is a Sales Assistant at TEMPLE CYCLES LTD, responsible for direct customer engagement and sales generation, achieving over £500,000 in sales. As a PhD candidate at the UCL Institute of Education, Rubio-Hormazabal researches child protective practices in Southern Chile from an ethnographic perspective. Additionally, Rubio-Hormazabal co-hosts the podcast "Y Le Preguntaste A Lxs Niñxs?" focusing on children and childhoods from a social perspective and co-founded Fuga Complementos, a microbusiness that designs cycling equipment. Previous experience includes roles as a lecturer in Community Psychology at Universidad Santo Tomás, researcher at Unidad de Estudios Comunitarios Latinoamericanos, consultant at PNUD Chile, and teaching assistant at Universidad Diego Portales. Rubio-Hormazabal holds a psychology degree from Universidad de Chile and is nearing completion of a PhD in Social Sciences at UCL.
