Shamsul Ahmad

Shamsul Ahmad is an accomplished leader in the energy sector with extensive experience in managing power plants and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Chief Regulatory and Stakeholders Management at Tenaga Nasional Berhad since December 2022, Shamsul has previously held senior positions, including Managing Director at TNB Fuel and TNB Janamanjung Sdn. Bhd. With a robust background that includes overseeing a 2100 MW power plant and the development of a 1000MW Super Critical Boiler, Shamsul played a pivotal role in positioning TNB Janamanjung as Malaysia's largest power plant equipped with advanced technology. Shamsul's educational credentials include an MBA from UNITEN and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
