Sarah Hazelton is a seasoned educational leader currently serving as the Coordinator of eLearning and Competency-based Education at the Tennessee Board of Regents since August 2021, focusing on expanding access to higher education for all Tennesseans. Prior to this role, Sarah held various leadership positions at Western Governors University from 2014 to 2021, including Interim Sr. Director of TNeCampus and Senior Manager of Program Faculty, where responsibilities included managing teams and enhancing student success for thousands of learners. Sarah's experience also includes faculty roles at the University of Phoenix, economic development management at the Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce, and directing clinical clerkships at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Sarah holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in International Business from Northwest Missouri State University.
