Chris Kerlin

Chris Kerlin is a skilled mechanical design manager with extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving at the Tennessee Valley Authority since January 2015. Previously, Chris worked as a senior mechanical engineer and design engineer at Bechtel Corporation from May 2008 to January 2015, leading the Watts Bar Unit 2 Nuclear Completion Project and managing various aspects of design and modifications for both operating and completion phases. Prior experience includes roles as a design engineer at Panasonic Electronic Devices, where project management of an automotive speaker system was achieved within budget and schedule, and as a surveyor and CAD specialist at B&H Surveying, demonstrating proficiency in site surveying and CAD modeling. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, completed in 2009.
