Alex Hamilton is an Australian lawyer and the current Chief Event Operations Officer at Tennis Australia. Alex has over ten years of experience in the legal industry, specializing in property, construction, and planning and environment law.

Hamilton began their legal career at Gadens Lawyers in July 2008, where they advised clients on a variety of front-end and back-end property, construction, and planning and environment matters. In June 2010, they moved to Hall & Wilcox as part of a team move with two partners from Gadens Lawyers. At Hall & Wilcox, Hamilton was responsible for building up the Property, Planning and Construction Team within the Commercial section. Alex advised a number of clients in the sports industry on commercial and property matters.

In June 2012, Hamilton left Hall & Wilcox to join Tennis Australia as the Chief Event Operations Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the planning and execution of all tennis events in Australia.

Alex Hamilton's educational career includes completing a Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne and a BA Honours Sociology at Bishop's University. Alex has also completed minors in Psychology and Criminology.

Alex Hamilton reports to Craig Tiley, CEO & Australian Open Tournament Director. They work with Anna Livingston - Chief Diversity & People Officer, Tom Larner - Chief Tennis and Members Officer, and Tim Jolley - Chief Strategy and Performance Officer.
