Joe Sobek

Joe Sobek, Vice President of Ag Innovation and Licensing, has an MSc in Agricultural Economics with 36 years of experience in the agricultural industry. His highly successful career at Dow AgroSciences (DAS) included numerous commercial leadership and global business-line management roles in both crop protection and seeds. In addition, Joe established and led the DAS Technology Licensing and Ventures Group.

In his role at Terramera, Joe manages the product development process to ensure on-time commercialization which includes overseeing field research plus leading IP and technology licensing transactions critical to the build of our technology platform. He is also responsible for identifying new high-value markets and explores how to best serve them.
