Aaron Douglas

Aaron Douglas is a System Design Engineer at TerraPower since July 2023, specializing in developing overpressure protection strategies and conducting risk assessments to enhance system reliability. Previously, at Enercon Services, Inc., from October 2022 to July 2023, Aaron supported license renewal and design change projects for TVA’s nuclear fleet as a Mechanical Engineer. Prior experiences include a role at Southern Nuclear from December 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities included preventive maintenance and system monitoring of mechanical systems. Internship experiences at Southern Nuclear in 2018 and Enercon Services, Inc. in 2017 provided foundational skills in mechanical systems and distribution. Aaron holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, earned between 2014 and 2019.
