Eduardo Serralta Hurtado de Menezes

Eduardo Serralta Hurtado de Menezes is an Applications Engineer at TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING, a.s. since April 2022. Previously, Eduardo served as a Research Associate at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) from July 2017 to June 2021, where research focused on transmission imaging using Helium Ion Microscopy, including the development of a new detection system for 4D imaging and contributions to the EU project npSCOPE. Prior roles included Microscopist positions at the Center for Microscopy and Microanalysis at UFRGS and the Eletron Microscopy Center, along with volunteer work on computer simulations at the Laboratory of Meteorology and Air Quality. Eduardo holds a PhD in Physics from Technische Universität Dresden, a Master of Science in Microelectronics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution.
