Teng Guo

Teng Guo, P.Eng, is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product development and design, currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer - Team Lead at Tesla since February 2020. Previously, Teng held leadership roles at Husky Injection Molding Systems, where significant contributions included spearheading a multi-million dollar product development, mentoring interns, and earning multiple patents as “Husky Inventor of the Year.” Teng's academic foundation includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, where significant research accomplishments include the development and patenting of a novel electric motor for hybrid vehicles. In addition to engineering and design expertise, Teng has a solid background in teaching engineering courses and conducting energy audits, showcasing strong problem-solving and communication skills throughout a diverse career.
