Daniel Pugh

VP for Student Affairs at Texas A&M University

Daniel Pugh is the current Vice President for Student Affairs at Texas A&M University. Prior to this, they served as Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Associate Professor of Higher Education at the University of Arkansas from September 2005 to July 2015. Pugh has also held positions as Associate Vice President for Student Life/Dean of Students at Eastern Washington University from September 2000 to August 2005, and as Director of Judicial Programs at the University of Georgia from September 1995 to June 2000. Daniel began their career in student affairs at Virginia Tech, where they worked in Residential and Dining Programs from July 1991 to June 1995, before moving to the University of Tennessee, where they served as Director of University Housing from January 1983 to December 1991.

Daniel Pugh earned their Ph.D. in Higher Education from The University of Georgia. Daniel also holds an MS in College Student Personnel from University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communications (Advertising) from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Daniel Pugh graduated from Christian Brothers High School with a high school diploma.
