Prior experience includes roles as Senior Counsel at Edwards Sutarwalla PLLC, where legal representation and business strategy development were key tasks, and General Counsel positions at Just One Dime, emphasizing compliance and contract negotiations. Brent also held significant positions at the Williamson County District Attorney's Office, including First Assistant District Attorney, where oversight of a 30-member staff and budget management were critical. Earlier professional experiences span judicial candidacy, multiple roles in county attorney settings, and internships that aligned legal practices with governance. Brent holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southwestern University.
