Tammy Evans-Mitchell

Tammy Evans-Mitchell, MA, currently serves as the Director of Communication and Interim Associate Vice Chancellor of Communication at Texas Christian University. Previously, Tammy held the position of Director of Communications Strategy & Public Relations at Texas Wesleyan University, where comprehensive communication strategies were developed, enhancing brand awareness and stakeholder engagement. Past roles include Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator at Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, focusing on community partnerships and economic development, as well as Communications Specialist, and adjunct professor in Speech Communications at Tarrant County College. Tammy holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas State University.
