Diana Sawyers

Diana Sawyers, PMP, CTCM, currently serves as the ITD-Branch Manager of Enterprise Delivery and ITD-PMO Section Manager at the Texas Department of Transportation since September 2021. In addition, Diana is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Austin Community College, teaching IT Project Management and Healthcare Implementation Project Management. Diana has extensive experience in project management and IT governance, having worked for the Texas Juvenile Justice Department from December 2010 to September 2021 in roles such as IT Governance & PMO Manager and Deputy CIO for Projects and Security. Early career highlights include positions at the Texas Youth Commission and Phoebus Communications, focusing on instructional technology and project management in education. Diana holds a BA in English from Baylor University, an MS in Instructional Systems from Florida State University, and a Master’s Degree in Literature from Texas State University.
