Laura Whitley

Laura Whitley is an accomplished marketing and communications executive with extensive experience in media relations, brand management, and community development. Currently serving as the SVP Marketing & Brand and Market President at TDECU since August 2021, Laura Whitley focuses on enhancing brand representation and expanding awareness of TDECU's mission to support individuals in their financial journeys. Prior roles include Vice President of Communications at the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, where Laura Whitley acted as the spokesperson for the agency, and Owner of Reel Media Solutions, LLC, providing a range of communications services. Earlier in the career, Laura Whitley worked as a freelance journalist and field producer for network news programs and held reporting positions at ABC13 Houston and KTBC-TV Fox 7. Laura Whitley holds a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently enrolled in the Advanced Management Program at Cornell University.
