Cari Christman

Cari Christman serves as the Deputy Associate Commissioner for the Texas Education Agency since February 2023, building upon a robust career in government and public affairs. Prior to this role, Christman spent a decade as Chief of Staff in both the Texas Senate and Texas House of Representatives, reflecting extensive legislative experience. Additional positions include Director of Special Projects at the Texas Education Agency, and involvement in various campaign management and legislative roles dating back to 2000, including serving as Campaign Manager and Deputy Campaign Manager. Christman holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Education, with a minor in History, from the University of Texas at Tyler.
