Ivar Slengesol

Ivar Slengesol is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Chair of the Steering Group for Norwegian Offshore Wind, where the focus is on developing advanced supply chains for offshore wind. Previously, Ivar held the position of VP Wind & MetOcean at TGS from July 2021 to July 2024, leading the global wind and metocean service line aimed at decreasing costs and uncertainties in offshore wind development. Ivar was also instrumental in launching TGS's New Energy Solutions business unit, providing data and software for renewable energy and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). Prior experience includes roles at Eksportkreditt Norge AS as Director of Strategy and Business Development, and at Eksportfinans ASA as EVP and Business Development Director, focusing on financing for renewable energy and clean technologies. Ivar's career began as CEO of OceanWind AS, where a strategic business plan and a cross-cultural team were established. Ivar holds an MBA in General Management from IMD and a MA in International Relations and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
