Edson Rodriguez

Edson Rodriguez is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in propulsion engineering and project leadership. Currently serving as Systems Director for Vulcan Structures & Mechanical Systems at The Aerospace Corporation since May 2023, Edson previously held the position of Principal Propulsion Engineer at Virgin Orbit, where responsibilities included technical authority for the LauncherOne rocket engines. Edson's earlier tenure at The Aerospace Corporation from 2008 to 2022 included roles as Sr. Project Engineer for payload accommodations and composite structures, Project Leader for launch vehicle structures, and Rocket Propulsion Engineer, focusing on Atlas V and Delta IV launch vehicles. Edson holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA, completed between 2003 and 2008.
