Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on desktop support and infrastructure operations. Matthew began their career as a Desktop Support Technician with North American Telecom in March 2000. In May 2001, they joined Ralph Lauren as Director of Digital Client Services, where they were selected to start a new Client Services team for supporting the new Digital Platform initiative. In June 2016, they left Ralph Lauren to join The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as Manager of Infrastructure Operations. In their current role, they are responsible for ensuring that the Foundation's IT infrastructure is reliable and secure.

Matthew Thompson has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University at Albany, SUNY. Matthew also has a Project Management certificate from the NYU School of Professional Studies. Matthew is certified as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance and as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. Matthew is also certified in ITIL Foundations v2 and v3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
