Kate Snyder, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Curriculum Manager for the College Excellence Program at The Aspen Institute since June 2023. Previously, Kate was a Visiting Associate Professor at Bates College, where significant contributions included enhancing nearly 100 undergraduates' critical thinking skills, overseeing ethical community engagement projects, mentoring 23 psychology students in independent research, and developing the institution’s inaugural Educational Psychology course. As an Associate Professor of Psychology at Hanover College from August 2019 to July 2021, Kate adeptly transitioned courses to remote instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic and received an Outstanding Advisor Award for promoting psychology on campus. Kate's earlier roles include serving as an Associate and Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville from 2012 to 2019. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University.
