Rishan Patel

Rishan Patel is a dedicated mentor and entrepreneur with extensive experience in sports service initiatives and community engagement. Since February 2023, Rishan has served as a Mentor for the Service Learning Through Sports program at The Aspen Institute, where contributions include advising students and assisting in the development of service projects. As Co-Founder and CEO of Alley-Oop Kids, Rishan has increased access to sports gear for over 200,000 children through partnerships and the establishment of Lending Lockers. Additionally, Rishan's roles as a Founder of the California & National Recess Day Coalition and a Research Intern at the University of California at Berkeley reflect a strong commitment to education and advocacy. Rishan also founded a cookie company and operated a successful re-seller business on eBay, demonstrating entrepreneurial skills and strong leadership abilities. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, Rishan continues to impact the community through innovative projects and mentorship.
