Deb Felsenthal

Deb Felsenthal is a Senior Software Engineer at The Atlantic since April 2018, leading the development of Python/Django cloud-based web services that cater to millions of users daily and creating scalable content recommendation systems. Prior to this role, Deb worked at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) from February 2013 to April 2018 as a Software Engineer and Digital Content Manager, overseeing digital projects for five prestigious oncology journals and managing web content design and development. Deb's earlier experience includes positions as Digital Content Lead and Coordinator for Health Policy at the Primary Care Collaborative, where responsibilities included content editing and contributing to industry publications. Deb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Pre-Medicine, with a focus on Neuroscience, from the University of Maryland.
