Clara Guixa

Clara Guixa currently serves as the Vice President of Applications and Deputy CIO at Boston Children's Hospital, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this role, Clara Guixa was with the University of Chicago Medicine, where responsibilities included Vice President of IT Strategic Applications, Planning & Delivery, as well as Executive Director and Interim Executive Director of Application Systems from September 2017 to March 2022. Clara Guixa also held the position of Clinical Engineering Director at the University of Illinois at Chicago from November 2006 to February 2010, and worked as a Biomedical Systems Engineer at ThedaCare from May 2002 to May 2005. Clara Guixa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, graduating in January 2001.
