Michael Hurwitz

Michael Hurwitz possesses extensive experience in policy research, currently holding the position of Executive Director of Policy Research at The College Board since 2011, after serving in various roles including Senior Director, Policy Research Scientist, and Associate Policy Research Scientist. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Research Analyst at the Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE) from 2008 to 2011 and at the American Institutes for Research from 2004 to 2006. Academic involvement includes a tenure as a Lecturer in Meteorology at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2003. Michael's educational background includes a Research Doctorate in Quantitative Policy Analysis in Education from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Meteorology from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Williams College.
