Tamara L. Wells

Tamara L. Wells is the Royalty Director at The Colony Group. Tamara has over fifteen years of experience in the music and entertainment industry, with a focus on royalties and participations.

Tamara began their career as a Manager, Royalties & Participations at Disney Interactive Media Group in 2006. In this role, they were responsible for the administration of royalty statements and the set-up of new participant statements. Tamara also collaborated with Legal, Finance, and Royalty departments to ensure reporting compliance. In 2011, Tamara left Disney to take on a short-term contract as a Bid - Project Manager at Technicolor.

The following year, Tamara joined Robert Half Management Resources as their Sr. Manager, Participations (Warner Music Group). In this role, they prepared and reviewed monthly, quarterly and semi-annual P&D, joint venture and participations statements and associated balance sheet reconciliations. Tamara also reviewed release schedules and contracts to ensure appropriate and timely set-up and reporting of new participant statements.

In April 2018, Tamara left Robert Half to join Glass Malek as their Director, Royalties. In this role, they were responsible for the administration of royalty statements and the set-up of new participant statements. Tamara also collaborated with Legal, Finance, and Royalty departments to ensure reporting compliance. Tamara left Glass Malek in September 2018 to join The Colony Group as their Royalty Director.

Tamara L. Wells has a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University and a BS in Business Administration / Accounting from Woodbury University.

They are on a team with Robert J. Glovsky - Vice Chair & Principal, Stephen Miller - Managing Director, Institutional Advisory Practice, and Scott McDonald - Senior Wealth Advisor. Tamara L. Wells reports to Michael J. Nathanson, CEO & Chair.
