Joko Arif has extensive experience in climate initiatives and sustainability, currently serving as the Interim Director for the Global Climate Initiative at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation since September 2017, where multiple senior advisory roles have also been held. Prior experience includes roles at Earth Innovation Institute as a Research Associate, managing sustainable development initiatives at INOBU as Managing Director, and overseeing strategic program management at IDH The Sustainable Trade Initiative. Earlier career highlights include serving as Sustainability Manager at Carrefour Indonesia and leading forest campaigns at Greenpeace Southeast Asia focused on combating deforestation linked to palm oil production.
