THE DESIGN MUSEUM
Danielle Thom currently serves as Senior Curator at the Design Museum since August 2022, following a notable tenure at the Museum of London as Curator from April 2017 to August 2022. Prior to that, Danielle held the position of Assistant Curator in both the Sculpture and Prints departments at the Victoria and Albert Museum from November 2013 to April 2017 and temporarily served as Research Curator for the exhibition 'A World of Fragile Parts' at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2016. Danielle's experience also includes a role as Teaching Fellow at University College London, where undergraduate modules on British art were developed and taught, and as a Print Specialist at The Map House. Earlier, Danielle worked as Curator for Archives, Photographs, Film, and Sound at the National Army Museum. Educationally, Danielle holds a PhD in the History of Art from UCL, an MPhil from the University of Birmingham, and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Oxford.
