Leo Abruzzese

Leo Abruzzese is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience at The Economist, where Leo serves as Deputy Editor for the annual forecasting issue, "The World Ahead," as well as Head Tutor for Economist Education's course on fintech. In addition to these roles, Leo is an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Economist Intelligence, and a Project Consultant for The World Bank, advising on foreign direct investment and contributing to industry frameworks. Previous positions include Senior Global Advisor for Public Policy and Global Director at Economist Intelligence Unit, where Leo managed client relationships and oversaw major research projects. Leo's career spans notable roles at Bloomberg News and Knight-Ridder Newspapers, and Leo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Joseph's University.
