Charlotte Bjørn Hansen

Charlotte has 3,5 years of experience as a consultant, primarily advising within climate change, nature-based solutions and sustainability. From her prior role she has solid experience in translating policies and complex technical insights and processes into a socio-economic and strategic context.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, Charlotte worked as a Senior Consultant at Ramboll Management Consulting where she amongst other advised public clients and NGOs on the benefits and impacts of integrating nature into infrastructure projects, supported policy decision making and strategies by developing tailored social and environmental KPIs and mapping sustainability journeys and impacts.

Charlotte holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Copenhagen with focus on environmental economics, international trade and climate change. Charlotte has broad international experience latest from working 6 months in Norway, collaborating with offices and clients in the Nordics, UK and the US and working as a Commercial Advisor within sustainability for 7 months in Dubai (UAE).

Charlotte is passionate about finding solutions that combine strong business cases with climate change mitigation and ecosystem improvement. In relation to this she is currently volunteering as Project Manager for Engineers without Borders establishing a sustainable city-wide business case in Freetown, Sierra Leone, for the removal of plastic waste from the ocean.
