Valentina Faia

Valentina Faia has extensive experience in the field of psychiatry. Valentina is currently serving as the Medical Director at The Free Spirit Collective since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Specialist Psychiatrist at ASL RMD from August 2007 to September 2022. Valentina also worked as a Specialist Psychiatrist at The Lighthouse ARabia from November 2017 to April 2022. In addition, they worked as a Psychiatrist at BR Medical Suites for a brief period from June 2017 to October 2017. Valentina also has experience in academia, having served as a Professor at IREP SCUOLA DI SPECIALIZZAZIONE IN PSICOTERAPIA from 2006 to 2011. Furthermore, they played a crucial role as the Vice-President and Co-founder of I.Me.Psi. Associazione Culturale since October 2015. Valentina began their professional journey in 2003 as the Head of Operations in a private practice of psychiatry.

Valentina Faia completed their education in two institutions. From 1993 to 1999, they attended Universita' Campus Bio-Medico Roma in Italy, where they earned a degree in MBBS in the field of Medicine and Surgery. Following that, from 1999 to 2003, they enrolled at Catholic University of Sacred Hearth in Rome, Italy, where they pursued a Specialist Psychiatry/Psychotherapist degree in the Psychiatry Residency Program.

In terms of additional certifications, Valentina Faia has obtained several qualifications. In 2016, they received the Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education Programme from SCOPE certified by the World Obesity Federation. In 2017, they obtained a License from Dubai Healthcare City Authority - Regulatory (DHCR) and an Eligibility Letter from Dubai Health Authority. Valentina Faia has also completed multiple SCOPE Module Completion Certificates from the World Obesity Federation and World Obesity Federation (formerly IASO), although the specific months and years of completion are not provided.
