Damilola Ogunbiyi is the CEO and UN Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All, as well as Co-Chair of UN-Energy, with a focus on advancing global energy access and transition. Prior to this role, Ogunbiyi served as Managing Director/CEO of the Rural Electrification Agency of Nigeria, driving significant projects to enhance solar energy access and power supply to educational institutions. Experience includes serving as Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on power matters and in various leadership positions within the Lagos State Government, where achievements included transforming the Lagos State Electricity Board and managing key public-private partnership projects. Ogunbiyi's professional foundation is supported by a Bachelor's degree in Project Management and a Master's degree in Construction Management with Public Private Partnership from the University of Brighton.
