Samantha Bastian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, monitoring, evaluation, and innovation within the nonprofit and consulting sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at The Global Fund for a New Economy since February 2025, Samantha has previously held executive positions at Busara and Evidence Action, where skills in program scaling, team management, and resource mobilization were prominently demonstrated. With a strong academic background including an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Master's in Economics from the University of Mumbai, Samantha has successfully led diverse teams and complex projects aimed at enhancing health, education, and livelihoods across regions in Africa and South Asia.
