Andrew Julien

Andrew Julien is the current Publisher & Editor-in-Chief at The Hartford Courant Company. Andrew has held this position since November 2021. Prior to that, they were with The Hartford Courant from March 2007 to November 2021, where they served as Publisher & Editor-in-Chief. During their time there, they were responsible for driving innovation and growth in news, advertising, circulation, and associated commercial lines of business while protecting the journalistic mission and community leadership of the nation’s oldest continuously published newspaper. Andrew also drove YOY improvement in financial results through a fundamental transformation in business strategy, embracing the shift in audience and advertisers to digital platforms. Tactical initiatives to drive the transformation included changes in organizational structure, business and news priorities and personnel.
