Christopher Wallis

Christopher Wallis has extensive experience in underwriting, with a career spanning over two decades in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Underwriting Director for Commercial D&O at The Hartford since July 2012, Christopher manages a significant management liability book, specializing in large public D&O, EPL, fiduciary, and fidelity lines. Prior roles include Senior Executive Underwriter and Underwriting Manager for the financial institutions department, overseeing operations in the West Coast and Southeast Region. Previously, Christopher worked at AIG as an Assistant Regional Underwriting Manager and Underwriting Specialist, where responsibilities included analyzing accounts and collaborating with Global Client Services. Earlier experience at Zurich North America involved underwriting and marketing corporate accounts. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from New York University, earned in 2002.
